Prof. Lewis is the world renowned first violinist of the Manhattan String Quartet of 40 years. The course began in 1988, while Prof. Lewis was conducting youth and university orchestras.He designed a new method that would enable players of all ages to expand their horizons and play incredibly difficult pieces of music in a shorter amount of time. He accelerated the learning curve for young string players to produce concerts of Mozart, Schubert, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky.
